PaP: 400 Mawozo gang kidnap 12 Americans and a Canadian aid workers

16 October 2021: In Port-au-Prince, seven female and five male aid workers working for Christian Aid Ministries, and five children were kidnapped when returning from a visit to an orphanage. They were reportedly traveling in a bus from an orphanage to the airport when the attack occurred.  They are believed to have been kidnapped by the 400 Mawozo gang who are asking for $1 million each for their release, a total of $17 million, Source: BBC, GardaWorld and WSJ
