The British Medical Journal (BMJ) supports the ICRC campaign (see recent editorial).
The campaign and study are based on the data the ICRC commissioned Christina and Nathan to collect, process and analyse between July 2008 and December 2010. The work is based on reports from the media, humanitarian agencies, and the ICRC field delegations from around the world. (download the 16 country study).
