Vaccinators prevented from leaving hospitals to administer COVID-19 vaccines

22 November 2021: In Ciudad Renacimiento neighbourhood, Acapulco de Juarez city, Acapulco municipality, Guerrero state, a group of people prevented nurses, doctors and assistants from leaving hospitals to administer COVID-19 vaccines. Head of Children’s Hospital fired at

Violence against health care in Mexico

The SHCC identified 16 incidents of violence against or obstruction of health care in Mexico in 2020. Health workers were killed and health facilities raided in these incidents.
