Refugees attacked in Awlala Refugee Camp in Amhara region
As reported on 27 July 2024: In the Olala forests, Awlala Refugee Camp, Amhara region, an armed group launched an attack on Sudanese refugees, firing into the air and inside the refugees’ huts, beating them with sticks and their weapons, and looting their belongings, which resulted in the injury of more than 15 refugees and the entry of seven women into states of fainting and slipping, one of whom was pregnant.
