09 May 2025: In Tambura county, Western Equatoria state, Tambura Hospital was stormed between 9 and 10 a.m. by two unidentified gunmen wearing police uniforms, firing shots in the air, and forcing the facility to close temporarily. 14 April 2025: In Ulang town and county, Upper Nile state, Greater Upper Nile region, the MSF hospital and office was stormed by dozens of armed men who threatened staff, and looted vital medical supplies and equipment. 15 January 2025: In Upper Nile state, Greater Upper Nile region, an MSF staff member was injured when two of their marked boats, carrying six members, were struck by unidentified gunmen. 27 February 2024: In Kapoeta East county, Eastern Equatoria state, authorities announced the resumption of NGO operations following a one-week suspension due to insecurity in the area. The decision to resume operations came after the communities of Buno and Nyangiyang agreed to share water points and live peacefully as one family. The previous week, 11,000 people were displaced from Bunno village and 10 others injured in Lopua village when the two Toposa communities of Buno and Nganiya clashed over a water point for their cattle. 09 November 2022: In Wau town, Western Bahr El Gazel state, a man in uniform and three men in plain clothes linked to security forces ambushed the Chairman of Academic Staff at the Bahr El Gazel University and drove him to an unknown location, where he was detained for 10 hours. 30 October 2022: Around Aali Zuberi, Nierteti North Camp, Central Darfur state, an unspecified number of displaced women and a seven-year-old girl were assaulted by two members of the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF). 9 May 2022: In Nimule town, Magwi county, Eastern Equatoria state, suspected cattle keepers from Jonglei state dragged a medical officer in his late 50s out of a health centre and cut his throat using a knife, killing him. 01 November 2021: In Gok Machar town, Aweil North county, Northern Bahr el Ghazal state, ten people looted a UNISFA compound, after the mission withdrew its last contingent from the area. The looted materials included bags of cement, beds, mattresses and refrigerators, among others. The perpetrators were arrested and later released and the stolen materials were subsequently recovered. 17 September 2021: In the Yari area, Mugo Payam, Yei county, Central Equatoria state, a WFP convoy was attacked while travelling from Yei to Morobo. The driver of one of the trucks, a South Sudanese citizen, was killed when the gunmen opened fire on the convoy.
